This blog preserves the essence of my "Wall" on Facebook. (Here is what the Wall normally looks like.) On Facebook, entries on the Wall vanish after a couple of months. Since this is the closest thing I have to a diary, I would like it to last longer, but I also don't want to publish information that might be too personal (for either myself or my Facebook friends). This blog is the best idea I could come up with that doesn't take up too much of my time. (See Rules of this Blog below.) It contains some but not all of my Facebook postings, with some information obscured.
Rules of this Archive
Comments, information and links are stored here as images, not text.
When an entry refers to a link or external item, you can reach that item by clicking on the image.
If you want to comment on any of these items on this blog, you are free to do so. (Click on "Comments" at the bottom of the entry.) If comments are not allowed for that item, click on the image to go to the posted link, and leave your comment there. However, FaceBook users would probably prefer to comment on the FaceBook entry itself, so others can see it. (Your comments here won't be seen by FaceBook users.)
This blog contains some, but not all, of the entries on my Facebook Wall. Items that seem too personal, private or trivial will be excluded, as will most items posted initially by others. (This archive contains mainly items I initiated or that directly relate to me.)
The last names of my Facebook friends may be blurred out (since I don't have their permission to post here). This turns out to be a lot of work, so I am blurring out last names only under certain circumstances. The rules for this are evolving.
Upon request from my Facebook friends, I will remove or obscure anything they regard as sensitive.
Long entries on Facebook may be truncated or edited.
Entries on this blog may lag behind those on Facebook by several days.
Posting times are Pacific (Las Vegas local time), regardless of the time zone I am in.
